Whhhyyyyyyyy?!?~ Fandom when watching This Week

This Week (otherwise known as Crack Week) is apparently a current affairs and politics TV shown late at nigh ton the BBC and not a mass hallucination as much of fandom usually thinks it is.

History[edit | edit source]

In 2003 someone let Andrew Neil out of his cage and he's never gone back.

Recurring jokes[edit | edit source]

Since it's been going on her nearly 13 years, the show has picked up a few long running in jokes including the following:

- Andrew Neil's favourite drink is Blue Nun and in order to fully appreciate the show you have to be drunk on it[1]

- After the show finishes Andrew takes everyone out clubbing

- Everyone has their own hashtag to be used on twitter - for example, Michael Portillo is #SadManOnATrain or some variation thereof[2]

- Terrible shirts[3]

- Diane Abbott is going to take over the world

- Closing fanvideas including Clameron edits and Big Bad John Bercow

- Weekly guest including everyone from Alastair Campbell and Owen Jones to Katie Price

Sometimes Andrew Neil brings his dog Molly along because why not? Molly's opinions are usually far more intelligable than whatever the hell Andrew Neil & co are going on about.

Shipping[edit | edit source]

Andrew seems to ship Diane Abbott/Michael Portillo and when the two of them were on the show together they didn't seem to mind ti either.

Since Diane had to leave because she got a big and important job on the front line of Labour politics, This Week have been shipping her behind her back with her old flame Jeremy Corbyn. In Diane's absence Michael Portillo has been getting close to Alan Johnson, among others.

Andrew Neil is shipped with his own wig.
