Harriet Harman has been a member of the Labour Party since the 70s, famous at first for her union connections. In all decades of Harriet's tenure as a Labour MP, she has campaigned for equal gender representation in Parliament, making her fondness for atrociously patterned jackets void as an argument against her. Current acting leader of the Labour Party (again), Harriet is occasionally attacked by horrible, immature people, in the darkest corners of teh intarwebs.
