Notable Songs[edit | edit source]
"Another Prick in Whitehall"[edit | edit source]
A song created from clips of Nick Clegg speaking about tuition fees, merged with a sample from Pink Floyd's "Another Brick in the Wall". It highlights the inconsistency in his stances on tuition fees, and Bull concludes that "Where's our representation? / All in all, you're just another prick in Whitehall."
Election Debate Rap Battle[edit | edit source]
A parody of the leaders' election debates in the form of a rap battle. Made up of clips from the third debate (from the BBC), David Cameron, Gordon Brown and Nick Clegg attack each other and descend into trivialities "('I don't like women, they're bigoted', 'Gordon, your mic's still transmitting', 'Flipping heck')".
"Dear Mandy"[edit | edit source]
A critique of the Digital Economy Bill in the form of a letter, addressed to Peter Mandelson. The chorus repeats "Dear Mandy, stay away from my family". It calls the legislation the result of vested interests, unenforceable and an infringement of civil liberties.
"How To Pick Between Milibands"[edit | edit source]
A musical look at the choice that Labour Party members faced in 2010 when trying to pick a new leader of the party and sibling rivalry. Although primarily focuses on Ed Miliband and David Miliband, there are also references to Diane Abbott, Andy Burnham and Ed Balls, the other candidates for Labour Party leader at the time.
