Private Eye is a fortnightly satirical magazine, edited by regular Have I Got News For You panellist Ian Hislop. While not exactly the print equivalent of uk_lolitics, Private Eye has been going since 1961, so has decidedly more practise in taking the mickey out of politicians and other public figures deemed incompetent, inefficient or corrupt. It is also less on the NSFW (not safe for work) side, and unfortunately has yet to catch up with the idea of shipping, especially in regards to the current Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister.

Private Eye's popularity means that many of its in-jokes have suffused into lolitical use, such as referring to the newspaper The Guardian as "The Grauniad" due to that paper's unreliable spelling record. Another lolitics-relevant feature of Private Eye is a recurring photograph of Andrew Neil, professional BBC political commentator and creepy twunt, in beach-wear, clasping a similarly clad young woman. It is regularly requested in Private Eye's letters page to provide continuous embarrassment to Mr Neil.
